Auxiliary Profiles

The auxiliary’s primary function is to raise funds for scholarships through a variety of events and established projects. Each auxiliary is a self-contained group, electing its own officers, including a chair, vice chair, secretary and treasurer, at its annual meeting.

Every group is unique in its size, demographic, meeting schedule, dues structure and menu of fundraising events.

Dickens Auxiliary

A diverse group that seeks to afford women of color the opportunity to support the hospital

A group that gives women with daytime commitments the chance to meet and volunteer in support of the hospital

Jenkintown/Abington Auxiliary (Sustaining)

A group of old and new friends who enjoy socializing by meeting, eating, and having fun raising funds for nurses' scholarships

Junior Auxiliary

A group of young women that affords its members an opportunity to support the hospital through fundraising and public outreach

A philanthropic as well as social venue for individuals who want to support the hospital.

Meadowbrook/Springlyn Auxiliary

One of the first auxiliaries, which remains committed to its mission and is seeking growth.

Medical Staff Auxiliary (Sustaining)

Devoted medical staff affiliates who are interested in supporting the hospital and offer a welcoming network to new physicians

Moreland Auxiliary

An auxiliary with programs, social functions and fundraisers planned to appeal to women who are interested in volunteering, creating lasting friendships, and are excited about events that benefit the hospital.

Wissahickon Valley Auxiliary

As the hospital expanded its service area, this group of loyal supporters formed to raise awareness for the hospital in the neighboring communities of the Wissahickon Valley
