A Women's Board signature event held the second weekend after Memorial Day, the June Fete is an old-fashioned country fair with amusement rides, carnival games, a variety of entertainment, delicious festival food and treats, and vendors for shopping.

Held all day Saturday, the Horse & Pony Show features fun competition for local equestrians of all ages—spectators welcome!

The Durham Fund for Nurse Wellness
All funds raised at The June Fete will support The Durham Fund for Nurse Wellness. The Abington Health Foundation Women’s Board has pledged to raise $100,000 a year for 5 years for this fund, which seeks to address systemic changes within the nursing profession by prioritizing nurse wellness and resilience through initiatives that foster a positive, supportive, and healthy work environment. The Durham Fund supports programs that aim to normalize well-being and improve overall wellness in the workplace.

History
The June Fete Fair’s humble beginnings took the form of street fairs, lawn fetes, and holiday bazaars held to raise funds for the hospital opening.

The June Fete is a registered trademark of the Abington Health Foundation (AHF) Women’s Board and is the broad term representing all its annual fundraising to benefit Jefferson Health – Abington, an expanding regional health organization serving Bucks, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. This umbrella of fundraising includes the Women’s Board annual special events, auxiliary fundraising, and vendor contracts, and our trademark event, the June Fete Fair, at the conclusion of each year. The AHF Women’s Board is a nonprofit organization of volunteers in support of Jefferson Abington Hospital. All our proceeds benefit services and programs to meet community and patient needs at Jefferson Abington and Jefferson Lansdale hospitals by supporting medical education, community programs, building expansions, equipment purchases, and patient needs.
